WELCOME to the PETROLEUM MECHANIC HELPER TRAINING COURSE
The Petroleum Mechanic Helper (PMH) Training Course is your gateway to higher levels of certification as a Petroleum Mechanic. Certification as a PMH is regulated by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) under the Technical Standards and Safety Act and Ontario Regulation 216/01. The regulation states that "No person shall be issued a certificate [for a PM.1, PM.2, PM.3, PM.4] unless the person is the holder of a PMH certificate ... ".
The holder of a PMH certificate may, without supervision, replace nozzles, spouts, hoses, breakaways, filters and belts on pumps and dispensers related to petroleum equipment.
