Question: How long may I take to complete the course? Answer: You could complete the course in less than one day. However, the course will not "time expire" on you if you wish to take longer.
Question: Is this course free? Answer: No. The cost of the course is $149.00 for the general public and $129.00 for municipal employees.
Question: Who should take this course? Answer: The Municipal Attendant Training Course is designed for municipal workers handling/dispensing gasoline or diesel fuel, and drivers of highway tanks and mobile refuelling tanks. This course does not lead to certification as a Site Operator.
Question: Is there a legal requirement to take the Municipal Attendant Training Course? Answer: There is a legal requirement to be trained if you are working as an attendant or driver at a fuel dispensing site.
Question: I live outside Ontario, may I take the course? Answer: This program was developed for use in Ontario, however it is anticipated that municipal workers from other Provinces and Territories will use this course material.

Question: I have an Apple Macintosh computer. Can I take the course? Answer: A Mac running OS X and Safari or Firefox as browser will be fine.
Question: What minimum computer system do I need? Answer: Any PC running Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher will do. You will also need a 56 Kb modem, or faster, connection to the Internet.
Question: Is there a minimum level of education or previous work experience required for this course Answer: No. The Municipal Attendant Training Course is an entry level course designed for all municipal workers handling/dispensing fuel, to help ensure your safety, and the safety of your workplace.
