WELCOME to the SITE OPERATOR TRAINING COURSE for PRIVATE FUEL OUTLETS

 This Site Operator Training course is intended for farmers, contractors, foresters, miners, and other persons who operate a private fuel dispensing outlet. Certification as a Site Operator is regulated by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority, Ontario (TSSA). 

In Ontario, every person that handles/dispenses fuel or is a driver of a highway tank or mobile refuelling tank, is required by the TSSA’s Liquid Fuels Handling Code to be trained in the use of all equipment, and trained to take action in the event of a spill or leak of product or any emergency condition.

Fuels Safety On-line Inc.'s Site Operator Training Course for Private Fuel Outlets fulfills the legal requirement for training persons handling/dispensing fuels. Fuels Safety On-line Inc. is accredited by TSSA as an approved training organization.   • Liquid Fuels Handling Code 2017 - this document may be obtained from the Canadian Standards Association on-line store at www.csa.ca  
  • You must have an email address

Time requirements

  • It should take you about 8 to 10 hours of study time to complete the course
  • You should complete the course within a period of 30 days, from start to finish
